I sat beneath a monster.
towering over the world
the wind bending to its will
sitting in its shade
i did not fear
scurrying around it
they did not dare look up at it
but darted beneath its legs
hoping that it wouldn't see them
the slumbering giant did not mind
as it basked in the sun.
